Region and State Theatre Meet gives your students the opportunity to prepare a scene, classical scene, dramatic or humorous monologue, pantomime, as well as a musical theatre piece to be judged at a region level. If the student receives an overall superior at region, they qualify for state. In addition to the individual events, you may bring a one-act play to be adjudicated. It may also qualify for state with an over all superior rating. Please see all the rules, format, and judging qualifications that were voted on in April 2011. You can click on the UHSAA website www.uhsaa.org/new and go under the heading Publications and Policies. Scroll down to the theatre/drama section. To find out who your region and state representatives are, please go to the representatives listing under uhsaa on our website.
