Mission Statement

UACTT strengthens theatre educators across the state of Utah through professional networking, training and communication.

Vision Statement

UACTT empowers theatre educators in all aspects of their jobs by:

· Creating and maintaining a network of theatre teachers which, through open communication provides the sharing of resources for drama curriculum, instruction and theatrical production elements.

· Serving as a central hub to effectively communicate and coordinate relations between theatre educators and theatre education organizations; i.e. Utah Theatre Association, The Utah Shakespearean Festival, Utah High Schools Activities Association, Utah State Office of Education, Utah Thespians, community theatres, and colleges and universities.

· Creating, sharing and improving resources for theatre teachers through listening, exploring, mentoring and solving current and future issues within the realm of theatre education.
